Your chosen public name, public area, precision and latest map point will be visible to anyone who can open shtory.ie. Do not share from a private or sensitive place. No route is built. If a phone suspends GPS, the last fix remains visible and is marked last known until you return, Pause, Stop or the timer expires.
1. Say who and roughly where
This can reveal a home, workplace or the side of a road. It is public, not friends-only. Somebody else can copy or record the point while it is visible; stopping the share cannot erase their copy.

Sharing by choice
One person,
one temporary session.
Anyone who chooses to can open this controller on their own phone. Each person supplies the name and area they want public; the server assigns a colour, and the temporary session controls only its own dot.

Confirm consent and press Start. GPS is found before a session is created.

Pause or Stop at any time. Refreshing or leaving the page keeps the latest fix for the time you chose; returning reconnects GPS.
