Note
Shtory.ie is live
Weather, racing schedules, server status and notes in one place.
The first version is live. It brings together the Galway forecast, racing calendar, service status and links to Plex, BlueMap and Minecraft.
The site is deliberately lightweight. Most pages are generated in advance, while weather, race schedules and server checks update automatically in the background.
Posts and updates are ordinary Markdown files, so adding something later does not require rebuilding the whole project by hand.
What will live here
- Weather and daylight information for Galway
- Formula 1 and motorcycle road-racing schedules
- Uptime and response times for hosted services
- Longer notes and short server updates
The name is just how I’d ask what’s happening. That is probably enough explanation.
